Local Produce for Oktoberfest

Pork producers are battling it tough in a season of over-supply, when it was not long ago major suppliers were finding it tough to source local produce.

It’s a hard market to get right, but for a supplier that has to provide 4 tonnes of both beef and pork next week – it can be potentially deal-breaking.

Well that’s the case for Oktoberfest suppliers, which are gearing up for month long hock and wurst eating. Gotzinger’s Antony van der Drift is supplying the capital’s festivities with local produce.
